简要规则描述：（*）探明地块范围内的各类地下管线，包括埋设于地下的给水、排水（雨、污、合流）、燃气、电力、通讯、热力、工业管道等市政和公用管线及铁路、民航、军用等其它专用管线，应查明地下管线的类型、平面位置、埋深及管顶(底)标高的变化、管径或根数、材质等。（*）对地块范围内的架空管线（如电力、通讯等）的电压、根数进行调查、记录，并对悬高进行测量。（*）如现场发现疑似地下障碍物（如建筑物基础、地下构筑物、超大/超深管线等），需及时告知业主单位。（*）编制形成管线探测成果报告，包含管线成果图、管线点成果表、管线数量统计表等。
